Gear & Gigs
I recently made my first foray into home recording. After seeking the expertise of no fewer than seven audio engineers, I purchased a Warm Audio WA-47jr condenser microphone, Focusrite 2i2 console and headphones. I’m really loving the tones — although the Warm Audio instructions are better suited to a sound engineer. The Focusrite, however, is super-easy to use, and I had zero trouble hooking it up and syncing with GarageBand. Overall, I’m super happy with my purchases (thank you Sweetwater!) — and completely addicted to home recording.
