Epiphone and Lzzy Hale Unveil Sparkly Explorer Guitar
Halestorm vocalist Lzzy Hale and Epiphone teamed up to release the musician’s most dazzling custom electric guitar yet.
The Lzzy Hale Explorer™ Custom in Black Diamond Holographic Sparkle finish, created in collaboration with the GRAMMY Award-winning Halestorm frontwoman and rhythm guitarist, is gorgeously nocturnal. It’s also a welcome sequel to artist’s 2022 red Gibson Explorerbird.
Purpose-built for heavy music, the new Explorer Custom features a Black Diamond Holographic Sparkle finish, premium appointments, and a high-output voice made for heavy riffs, soaring leads, and arena-size presence. It’s built around a classic mahogany Explorer body, with a 7-ply top binding and a single-ply mirror pickguard for maximum visual impact under stage lighting.
“I just needed more sparkle,” Hale told Gibson in a video interview, noting that there’s something about the Explorer shape that speaks to her. “You can see it from the back of the arena — it’s very recognizable.”
