5 New Signature Guitars by Female Artists, 2025 Edition
Every couple of years, we scour the Internet for the latest and greatest signature guitars by female artists.
Since our last 2023 batch, it’s gotten harder to find new ones. That’s what makes these five signature guitars by female artists — including four models by guitarist moms Susan Tedeschi, Margo Price, Lari Basilio, and Rosanne Cash — extra special. All were released in 2024 and 2025 (for slightly older, but still-pretty-new models by female artists, check out our 2023 list or our 2021 list).
#1: Susan Tedeschi
Blues guitar slayer and rockmommy Susan Tedeschi, who plays in Tedeschi Trucks Band with musician husband Derek Trucks, unleashed her first signature guitar in 2024, with Fender, inspired by her 1993 Standard Telecaster, in “aged Caribbean mist.” Retailing for $1,899 via Sweetwater (and available via other retailers) the Susan Tedeschi Telecaster’s features include a light-weight alder body (equipped with a modernized 6-saddle bridge with block steel saddles for intonation adjustment); a Modern “C” profile maple neck with a 9.5-inch-radius slab rosewood fingerboard, and 22 medium-jumbo frets.
#2: Margo Price
The Margo Price J-45 acoustic guitar from Gibson, created with players like me in mind, is a true beauty, featuring a stunning red-tailed hawk design featured on the double pickguards. The guitar, released in March, is finished in a gorgeous Heritage Cherry Sunburst, and comes fully-equipped with L.R. Baggs electronics, so it’s studio and stage ready right out of the included hardshell case, according to Gibson. Margo, a mom of two, drew inspiration inspired by Red-tailed Hawks, which feature prominently on the distinctive double 50s-style pickguards of her new J-45 signature guitar. It’s $3,999 new via Gibson and other retail outlets.

#3: Lari Basilio
Brazilian Guitarist Lari Basilio’s newly released Ibanez LB1-BK features all of the bells and whistles of the original (in purple), with a sleek nocturnal vibe. The musician mom’s solid-body electric guitar’s features include Ash wood body, a roasted maple neck, one humbucking pickup, two single-coil pickups, and a Gotoh Tremolo. Available for $3,249 via Sweetwater and other retailers.
#4: Diamond Rowe
Metal guitarist Diamond Rowe of the band Tetrarch collaborated with Jackson Guitars on a signature model that truly slays: Jackson Guitars’ Pro Series Signature Diamond Rowe DR12MG EVTN6, in dark rose with an ebony fingerboard.
As Guitar World observed, Rowe is now the first female in the history of Jackson with a signature guitar, She’s also Jackson’s first African American female signature artist and the second Black female guitarist to be honored with her very own signature model. The first: H.E.R.’s signature silver Fender Stratocaster.

#5: Rosanne Cash
The new Gibson Custom Shop Rosanne Cash J-185, a companion guitar to dad Johnny Cash’s, was made in close collaboration with the legendary musician mom. Released in 2024, the guitar features a flame maple body that is slightly thinner for playing comfort, a Sitka spruce top, and a SlimTaper™ 24.75” mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard. Gibson Custom Rosanne Cash J-185 arrives in a stunning Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish. For this very special limited edition run, only 100 of these beautiful instruments will be handmade by the expert luthiers and craftspeople of Gibson Custom in Bozeman, Montana.
