Book the babysitter and mark your calendars for August 6, in Asbury Park, N.J, when She Rocked It, a media and mentorship platform for creative, courageous women, hosts a live afternoon panel with music-biz ladies Sonia De Los Santos, Mona Kayhan, and Beth Herbruck; cookie artist Dani Boglivi-Fiori; mental health champion Dr. Robin Smith and others.

The panel, which kicks off at 2:30 p.m., offers creative entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn, firsthand, how to launch successful, more personally fulfilling careers and overcome challenges, notes She Rocked It founder/host Karen Gross, who will moderate the panel discussion. Attendees will be able to ask questions, too.
“Since some of the panelists are moms, we will also be discussing ways to balance the demands of creativity and motherhood,” Gross tells Rockmommy. “At She Rocked It, we truly believe that moms rock! During the pandemic, many women resigned their careers due to lack of childcare. In the wake of the Great Resignation, many moms are craving more sustainable and creatively fulfilling career paths. She Rocked It aims to help creative women realign their careers for this new era, and this live event is intended to be inspiring, informative and fun.”

The event is produced in partnership with the Transparent Clinch Gallery, which features work by the famed rock photographer Danny Clinch, and will be followed by a rock concert at 4 p.m. starring MAMADRAMA, a NJ-based band fronted by all moms.
The event is free and open to the public, and seats are first come first serve.
Marisa Torrieri Bloom is the editor and founder of Rockmommy.
